I am running for Timnath Town Council because I have experienced the town’s growth firsthand and believe the next phase of that growth should be shaped through deeper and more meaningful resident involvement.
Timnath does a good job sharing information about development proposals, planning initiatives, and town decisions. However, many residents still feel disconnected from the process, not because information is unavailable, but because it is not always clear how and why decisions are reached nor how residents can meaningfully participate.
I believe there is an opportunity to strengthen civic engagement by helping residents better understand how local government works, why certain funding mechanisms are used, and how their voices, whether through feedback, service, or voting, directly influence outcomes.
After years of observing, listening, and engaging informally, I decided it was time to step forward and serve. I want to help bridge understanding, encourage participation, and contribute to thoughtful, community driven decision making.
